If you accomplish this, these bubbles are cleared from the board, which not only gives you points and clears the board, and gives you more time, but it also might create a path to shoot a stack of bubbles that were previously inaccessible. And if you clear lots of bubbles at once, your power bar fills up faster, which can provide you will all sorts of fun special bubbles, like ones that can match bubbles of any color.
